The Coca-Cola Christmas Truck in Peterborough

For about 20 years, its appearance in advertising on television screens announcing the upcoming Christmas holidays ( "Holidays are coming!"). Of course, we are talking about the legendary, huge, red, shining "Coca-Cola Truck". That's what we'll see in Peterborough in less than a month. And it will bring not only the Christmas mood, but also the whole power of the attractions.

The Coca-Cola truck will tour the UK on November 11th. It will visit 42 locations, including our city on 2nd December 2017. Unfortunately, this year the truck will not stop on the Cathedral Square. There are also great hopes that one day we will come to Thorney Village.

To see the vehicle, residents of Peterborough will have to go to the Serpentine Green shopping center (Hargate Way, Hampton,PE7 8BE). We will see the truck from 11.00 to 19.00 and we will take pictures on its background. The Coca-Cola team gives us free, selected drinks of the famous brand that we drink in a truly snowy and festive setting.

So far, the Christmas truck has reached 397 stops on British routes, which run from November to December from 2011. Its count is 730 thousand miles. The vehicle is 4.1 m long and weighs over 13 tons. For its illumination you need 372 bulbs and 8,772 Christmas lights.

Enjoy ;)
