Aleksandra Barr: The woman behind "Thorney Village News"
My name is Aleksandra. I think I am able to acquire new skills and experience and have an opportunity to develop myself in Thorney Village - my new home. I am a hardworking and responsible person. My hobbies and interests are writing blogs, reading, spending time with children and animals. Recently, I have expanded my hobby and running a local newsletter for Thorney Village and surrounding neighborhood.
In my current position as a Personal Assistance, to the deputy director, I am accustomed to working in a high-pressure environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential. I've successfully represented a diverse group of clients in a variety of often complex and challenging situations. As a neighbor I could say that the principles of good neighborliness is my base. None of us should feel isolated, because our community consists of individuals, that is, people who have emotions and feelings. Our behavior and actions for the community contribute to a good and organized society, that's why it is worth being loyal, helpful and supportive.
Furthermore, I enjoy developing great rapport with people I help. A trustworthy and dependable individual who take great satisfaction in sharing news with people of all cultures. I am dedicated and able to taken challenges in order to make them success. Over and above, I am a lively team player who works well with co-workers, colleagues and neighborhood.
Thorney Village News was formed quite spontaneously. I moved to this magnificent village of Thorney and the idea was born after reading one article stated on the official website of the Parish Council. Information contained therein refers to the needs of our community. It was about greater involvement and support for vulnerable residents of our village who are very lonely and sometimes isolated from the local community.
