Great opportunity with Healthy Peterborough

Healthy Peterborough and TruGym have organized a great program "Let's Get Moving". The most important thing is that it is free and for up to 8 weeks. Anyone over 16 can participate in this program. It does not matter if you are physically active because the program is for anyone who wants to start exercising, lose weight, be more physically active, or simply combine exercise with meeting new people.

It is more obvious that everyone will be under the supervision of specialized personal trainers who prepare a special training program. Training programs in the gym will be developed individually for your needs and physical abilities. In addition, everyone will receive an individual plan for exercise at home, which is 8 weeks under the guidance of a trainer and a guaranteed success.

A healthy lifestyle is a way of life that is designed to provide optimum health and minimize the risk of developing a variety of illnesses. Such diseases include cardiovascular diseases (ischemic heart disease, hypertension, atherosclerosis, infarct), type 2 diabetes, bronchial asthma, and cancers.

Positive effects on our health are primarily:

  • diet,

  • sleep duration,

  • physical activity,

  • Use of medical care (preventive examinations).

Today we talk about physical activity. Regular exercise (gym, walking, cycling, roller skating, etc.) prevents fat accumulation and overweight. During physical exercise, blood flows faster in the blood vessels, making the tissues better blood and oxygenated. In addition, hormones of happiness - endorphin, serotonin, which improve mood. If you do not have time for regular exercise because you work, then you should increase your activity by using the "Let's Get Moving" program when you have day off. Instead of lounging all day on the sofa watching TV, it is worthwhile to go to the gym, exercise, meet new people and be healthier.
