Basic rules:

• Be polite and respect other people’s views.

• We will NOT accept rudeness or abuse.

• Any libelous or unpleasant posts/comments will be removed.

• SPAM NOT allowed!

• Swearing is NOT permitted!

• Everything free of charge!

What you can do:

• Advertise your business for free

• Advertise your services for free

• Let’s know what’s new in Thorney

• Recommend something

• Inform about events, entertainment and family fun days

• Introduce yourself, tell stories or simply describe your problem

• Sales/buys

• Chat with the public

• and much more

The list of posts to be deleted immediately and without warning if:

• Posts personally critical or abusive of others

• Posts about ‘blocking’ members

• Posts that are potentially libelous or in breach of Facebook policies on obscenity, equal opportunities, racism etc.

Other information:

• Do not give out personal details.

• If other group members contact you personally, please be careful.

• If you receive an abusive message or one that makes you feel uncomfortable please alert with print screen via email thorneyvillagenews@gmail.com
